Skin overview

The Terrace pattern is built from interlocking angular shapes that resemble stairs or terraces, set against the bold yellow of the magazine. In Minimal Wear the finish is practically indistinguishable from a new copy at normal viewing distance. Buyers get the same high-contrast look while paying for a slightly less strict grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, frame and perforated barrel shroud are covered in a dense pattern of angular yellow, cream and dark grey shapes arranged like steps. The grip carries the same pattern, with dark grip panels blending into the darker blocks.

A few tiny marks may appear on the muzzle and the lower edge of the magazine. They are hard to spot without zooming in. At normal distance the pistol reads the same as a Factory New copy. The frame, shroud and grip remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Terrace is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Tec-9 | Terrace belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, dark grey or gold stickers blend well with the yellow and dark block pattern. Placing a single dark sticker on the frame above the grip keeps the busy pattern from feeling cluttered, while yellow-toned stickers echo the magazine.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the grade, since the solid yellow magazine shows scratches earlier than the patterned frame.
  • Look at the muzzle and the shroud holes, as they lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit your taste.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied, since they change how the busy pattern reads.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a clean-looking Tec-9 without paying for the strictest grade.
  • Crafters for whom tiny marks on the magazine do not matter.
  • Conclusion: a near-new look at a more reasonable grade.
