Skin overview

This is the grey-and-white pixel camouflage Tec-9 in a noticeably used condition. In Well-Worn the light blocks lose brightness and bare metal shows through on the edges and raised parts, giving the gun a rough, field-used look. The camo pattern still holds together across the receiver and grip.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The whole Tec-9 is covered in a hydrographic digital camouflage of grey, white and near-black square pixels, with no separate accent colour. On the receiver and the perforated barrel shroud the pixels sit in dense clusters, mixing dark and light blocks fairly evenly.

Bare metal shows clearly on the shroud, muzzle and magazine base, and the receiver edges are worn through in places. The white pixels look dulled and grey-tinted. In game the gun reads as visibly used, though the camouflage is still recognisable. The centre of the receiver sides and the grip keep most of the pattern.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Urban DDPAT is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Bank Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

By price this skin is 3rd of 5 skins Consumer Grade Tec-9 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

The monochrome grey scheme accepts almost any sticker colour, but black, white and grey stickers keep the urban camo look consistent. A single bright sticker in red or orange on the receiver works as an accent against the neutral pixels. Holographic or metallic stickers in silver tones suit the cold palette well.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits inside the wear range, since the magazine and shroud show the difference most clearly.
  • The pattern is a uniform pixel camo, so pattern placement matters little compared with float.
  • Look at the magazine base and the shroud holes on the inspect screen, as they wear first.
  • Confirm whether the copy is a souvenir version and check any stickers or name tag already applied.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a used, field-worn look on a pistol.
  • A low-cost way to replace the default Tec-9.
  • Suits those who value character over cleanliness.
