Show allAllSkin overview
Delusion is a loud, high-contrast finish built on yellow-green paint, purple blotches and swirling shell-like lines. In Field-Tested the spray paint starts to chip on the rail, muzzle and edges, letting dark metal through, while the main swirls on the body and magazine still read clearly. The worn edges give the bright scheme a rougher, used look.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and upper rail are painted in bright lime-yellow with purple patches, and the top rail ridges carry dark gaps between the green teeth. Fine concentric and spiral lines run over the body, turning into large ripple patterns on the long magazine and the pistol grip.
Paint chips become visible on the rail ridges, the muzzle, the magazine base and the outer edges of the stock, showing dark metal. Worse floats in this grade spread scratches onto the edges of the receiver and the front grip. In game the gun still reads as bright yellow-green and purple, with the wear showing as darker outlines. The central swirls on the receiver and the large ripples on the magazine remain largely intact.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.35
The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Delusion is 0.06–0.35; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.35 segment (69% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir UMP-45 | Delusion belongs to The Vanguard Collection, which holds 14 skins.
The source is Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Purple, violet and black stickers tie in with the dark patches and keep the lime base dominant. Holo or foil stickers in green or yellow tones blend into the finish for a monochrome craft. Placing stickers on the receiver side avoids covering the large ripples on the magazine.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high floats of the same grade can differ noticeably on the rail and stock edges.
- Look at the rail ridges and the muzzle first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
- Inspect the bottom of the magazine, where chips stand out against the bright lime ripples.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether their colours sit well on the yellow-green base.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Budget buyers who want the bright lime and purple scheme for everyday play.
- Players who like a used look with dark edges framing the colours.
- An affordable way into the skin with the main pattern still readable.
