Show allAllSkin overview
The skin is easy to spot from across a map: a bright lime body, violet accents on the rail and stock, and concentric ripples on the magazine and grip. Minimal Wear keeps almost all of that intact, with only small scuffs on the sharpest edges that are hard to see in play. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a more relaxed entry point.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and upper rail are painted in bright lime-yellow with purple patches, and the top rail ridges carry dark gaps between the green teeth. Fine concentric and spiral lines run over the body, turning into large ripple patterns on the long magazine and the pistol grip.
Small scuffs may appear on the tip of the muzzle and on the most exposed rail ridges. Higher floats in this grade can add a few light marks to the bottom edge of the magazine. At normal viewing distance these are barely noticeable and the gun looks practically clean. The body, grip and stock keep their full colour and pattern.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Delusion is 0.06–0.35; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (28% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir UMP-45 | Delusion belongs to The Vanguard Collection, which holds 14 skins.
It drops from Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Purple, violet and black stickers tie in with the dark patches and keep the lime base dominant. Holo or foil stickers in green or yellow tones blend into the finish for a monochrome craft. Placing stickers on the receiver side avoids covering the large ripples on the magazine.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high floats of the same grade can differ noticeably on the rail and stock edges.
- Look at the rail ridges and the muzzle first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
- Inspect the bottom of the magazine, where chips stand out against the bright lime ripples.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether their colours sit well on the yellow-green base.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny scuffs on the edges do not matter under stickers.
- A balanced pick that looks nearly identical in game.
