Show allAllSkin overview
This UMP-45 has a brown houndstooth hydrographic print that looks muted and workmanlike even when clean. At Well-Worn the checks are interrupted by grey scratches on the raised parts, and the brown tones go flatter. At normal distance it still reads as a brown checked SMG.
Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
A houndstooth print in dark brown and olive-tan covers the upper receiver, the top rail area, the handguard and the lower receiver around the trigger guard and magazine well. The magazine, pistol grip, vertical foregrip, skeleton stock and muzzle stay plain grey and khaki, which frames the patterned body.
Grey patches are larger on the rail, the handguard front and the raised details around the charging handle. The brown tones look flatter and less contrasty. The middle of the receiver sides keeps a readable pattern, though the edges of the print are ragged. In game the skin looks brown and worn, with the check still recognisable.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Houndstooth is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir UMP-45 | Houndstooth belongs to The Havoc Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Warm browns, gold, cream and muted olive suit the houndstooth check and keep the tailored look. Bright neon stickers clash with the earthy palette. A single sticker on the receiver side or a calm row of similar tones works better than a busy mix.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float within the wear range, since copies at the low end of a grade look cleaner on the rail and handguard.
- Inspect the top rail and the front edge of the handguard, where the print wears off first.
- On Souvenir copies, look at the pre-applied stickers and decide whether they fit the brown pattern.
- Pattern placement barely matters here because the check is uniform, so focus on wear and stickers.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players on a budget who still want the brown check visible.
- Fans of a rugged, worn look on a muted skin.
- An inexpensive way to get a recognisable pattern.
