Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of this skull-themed UMP-45, where large parts of the decal are rubbed away. What remains is a pale skull fragment on the receiver and scattered teal flecks on a scraped base. It keeps the colours of Primal Saber at the lowest entry point.
Item type: smg. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The side of the receiver is covered by a large sabertooth tiger skull in bone white and pale grey, with dark recesses around the eye socket and the long fang running down toward the trigger area. Above it, the top rail and upper receiver carry bright teal slash stripes on a dark base, giving a tiger-stripe contrast to the pale bone.
Most of the teal is worn off and only small flecks remain along the top. The skull is heavily rubbed, with grey metal showing through much of the bone colour, and the grip and magazine are scraped down. In game the skin looks rough and faded. Some of the skull outline in the middle of the receiver usually survives.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.77
The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Primal Saber is 0–0.77; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.77 segment (42% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir UMP-45 | Primal Saber belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Chroma 3 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Teal, white and black stickers match the skin's palette, and bone or skull themes fit the artwork naturally. Placing stickers along the top rail or the rear of the receiver keeps the skull itself clear.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the teal stripes on the top rail change noticeably between low and high values.
- Inspect the skull on the receiver, as its raised areas show wear before the rest of the decal in mid grades.
- Look at the magazine edges, which scuff early and are clearly visible in first-person view.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they cover the skull.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the lowest entry point to this skin.
- Those who like a heavily worn, scraped finish.
- An entry option where only fragments of the skull remain.
