Show allAllSkin overview
Primal Saber is built around a pale predator skull and a cold teal accent, a contrast that still works once the paint starts to wear. In Field-Tested the skull stays readable as a whole while the top stripes and edges pick up visible scuffs. The finish begins to look used rather than new, which suits the bone theme.
Item type: smg. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The side of the receiver is covered by a large sabertooth tiger skull in bone white and pale grey, with dark recesses around the eye socket and the long fang running down toward the trigger area. Above it, the top rail and upper receiver carry bright teal slash stripes on a dark base, giving a tiger-stripe contrast to the pale bone.
The teal stripes on the top rail and upper receiver show clear chips with grey metal underneath. The magazine edges and the corners of the receiver are scuffed, and light wear starts to touch the raised parts of the skull. The skull as a whole still reads clearly in game. The lower part of the receiver around the fang usually holds up best.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Primal Saber ranges from 0 to 0.77; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 30% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Chroma 3 Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma 3 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Teal, white and black stickers match the skin's palette, and bone or skull themes fit the artwork naturally. Placing stickers along the top rail or the rear of the receiver keeps the skull itself clear.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the teal stripes on the top rail change noticeably between low and high values.
- Inspect the skull on the receiver, as its raised areas show wear before the rest of the decal in mid grades.
- Look at the magazine edges, which scuff early and are clearly visible in first-person view.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they cover the skull.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the skull design and accept visible scuffs on the stripes.
- Buyers looking for a middle ground between appearance and cost.
- A practical pick for everyday play.
