Show allAllSkin overview
The float range of USP-S | Orion ends early, so even Battle-Scarred copies are not taken to the heaviest damage possible. The design is visibly worn on the slide, the suppressor ends and the front of the frame, yet the main graphic areas remain recognisable. It is the most accessible way to own this finish.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The custom paint is applied across the whole pistol: the slide, the frame with its textured grip, the magazine base and the long suppressor. On the reference image the gun reads in muted grey metal tones, with the suppressor showing dimpled detailing along its length and the slide carrying fine engraved markings.
This is the heaviest wear the skin can reach, but because the float range is capped it stops short of full damage. The slide, suppressor ends, trigger guard and magazine base are visibly stripped, and fine details in the design are broken across these areas. The central parts of the frame sides and suppressor keep enough paint for the finish to stay recognisable in game.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Orion is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir USP-S | Orion belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Since the finish is built on clean graphic lines, stickers with simple shapes and restrained colours sit better than busy, multicoloured designs. Placing stickers on the slide keeps them in the first-person view, while a single sticker on the suppressor adds an accent without breaking up the composition.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value inside a grade looks noticeably cleaner on the slide edges.
- Check the top of the slide and the suppressor rims, because these are the first places the paint wears off.
- Decide between regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies, as all of them exist for this skin.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, and remember that the skin still works in trade-up contracts if you plan to use it there.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget players entering the skin at its most accessible grade.
- Owners who know the capped float range keeps the finish recognisable.
- Conclusion: the entry point to owning this design.
