Show allAllSkin overview
USP-S | Orion relies on a graphic, modern composition rather than a texture, so wear shows up as breaks in clean lines. In Field-Tested the design is still fully readable, while scuffs begin to appear along the slide edges and the tip of the suppressor. For many players this is a sensible middle point between look and cost.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The custom paint is applied across the whole pistol: the slide, the frame with its textured grip, the magazine base and the long suppressor. On the reference image the gun reads in muted grey metal tones, with the suppressor showing dimpled detailing along its length and the slide carrying fine engraved markings.
Scuffs become noticeable along the top and edges of the slide, on both rims of the suppressor and on the trigger guard. Some fine lines of the graphic start to break up where the paint has rubbed off. At normal viewing distance the pistol still reads as the same design, and the side panels and middle of the suppressor remain largely clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Orion is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Field-Tested as the baseline:
- Factory New — 2.1× dearer
- Minimal Wear — about the same
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Among 5 skins of the USP-S in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Since the finish is built on clean graphic lines, stickers with simple shapes and restrained colours sit better than busy, multicoloured designs. Placing stickers on the slide keeps them in the first-person view, while a single sticker on the suppressor adds an accent without breaking up the composition.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value inside a grade looks noticeably cleaner on the slide edges.
- Check the top of the slide and the suppressor rims, because these are the first places the paint wears off.
- Decide between regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies, as all of them exist for this skin.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, and remember that the skin still works in trade-up contracts if you plan to use it there.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who use the USP-S every round and want a recognisable finish.
- Buyers looking for balance between appearance and spending.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice with the design still readable.
