Skin overview

This USP-S finish is recognisable by its plain blue slide and gold accents rather than any pattern. In Field-Tested the blue starts to show light scuffs along the slide edges, while the overall colour still dominates the view. It keeps the royal colour scheme readable without the cost of a clean grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is painted a solid, saturated blue from the rear sight to the front edge, with no pattern on it. Gold accents mark the sights, the ring where the silencer meets the barrel, the trigger and small trim parts on the frame.

Light chipping appears along the slide edges and at the front of the slide. The gold accents start to look slightly duller. In first person the wear is noticeable when looking closely but the blue still covers most of the slide. The flat sides of the slide stay largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Royal Guard is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir USP-S | Royal Guard belongs to The Ascent Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the USP-S in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, holo-gold and white stickers echo the trim and stand out well against the blue slide. Placing them on the slide keeps the craft in view, while dark stickers tend to blend into the frame and get lost.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since a solid colour finish shows every scratch on the slide edges.
  • Look at the slide corners and the front of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
  • Pattern does not matter for this skin, so focus on condition and stickers.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they fit the blue and gold look.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the royal colour scheme for everyday use.
  • Buyers who do not mind light wear on the slide edges.
  • Conclusion: a sensible middle option for play.
