Skin overview

In Field-Tested the Stainless slide starts to look like a working pistol rather than a showroom piece. The steel loses part of its polish and the edges pick up light scuffs, while the dark frame and grip stay almost unchanged. It suits players who like a plain, used metal look on the USP-S.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is finished in a dark stainless steel tone with a soft metallic sheen and fine markings along its side. The silencer is a long dark tube with a slightly lighter, reflective surface that catches highlights along its length.

Slide edges and the silencer front show noticeable scuffs, and the steel sheen becomes less even. Some light marks reach the flat sides of the slide. In game the pistol reads as used metal but stays tidy. The frame and grip remain mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Stainless is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir USP-S | Stainless belongs to The Arms Deal 3 Collection, which holds 12 skins.

The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

What it costs in each quality

By price this skin is 6th of 12 skins Mil-Spec Grade USP-S in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The neutral steel and black scheme takes almost any sticker, but gold, silver and holo stickers match the metal best. A single sticker on the slide side stands out cleanly against the plain finish.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low floats in each grade keep the slide edges cleaner.
  • Inspect the slide edges and silencer front, as these lose their polish first.
  • Pattern does not change the look of this finish, so you do not need to pay extra for a pattern.
  • Check stickers, the name tag and whether you want the StatTrak™ or Souvenir variant.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like a used, working-metal look.
  • Buyers who want a plain upgrade over the default USP-S.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
