Show allAllSkin overview
Copperflage is a copper-painted XM1014 with pixel camouflage on the handguard, grip and stock panels. Battle-Scarred is its most worn state, with heavy chipping on the metal parts and faded camo, but the float range of this skin stops short of the heaviest wear. The result looks like a gun with long service behind it, not a ruined one.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, barrel, magazine tube and stock frame are painted in a solid copper-brown with a slight reddish tint, and the front sight stays dark. The handguard, the pistol grip and the cheek and butt panels of the stock carry a small pixel camouflage in pale tan, olive green and brown.
Large areas of the barrel, magazine tube and receiver are worn down to metal, and the stock frame edges are chipped. The camo panels are faded, with the pattern broken on the handguard and grip. Because the range stops short of the heaviest wear, the copper base and the camo inserts are still recognisable in game. The gun reads as rough and weathered rather than stripped.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Copperflage is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir XM1014 | Copperflage belongs to The Boreal Collection, which holds 29 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in copper, gold, brown, olive and cream tones blend with the finish, while matte or paper stickers suit the field-issue look. Placements on the receiver side stand out best against the plain copper.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies close to the cleaner border show noticeably less chipping on the barrel.
- Look at the muzzle, the handguard ribs and the grip texture in the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
- On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the copper colour scheme.
- Pattern placement has little effect on this small camouflage, so focus on wear and stickers.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget players who want an entry copy of the skin.
- Fans of heavily used weapons, since wear here stops short of the extreme.
- Conclusion: the most affordable way to get the skin while keeping its look recognisable.
