Skin overview

Copperflage is an understated skin: a single copper colour on the metal and a small green-brown camo pattern on the handguard, grip and stock. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip at the muzzle, the front sight area and the edges of the handguard, which gives the gun a used, field-issue character. The overall colour scheme remains clear in game.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, barrel, magazine tube and stock frame are painted in a solid copper-brown with a slight reddish tint, and the front sight stays dark. The handguard, the pistol grip and the cheek and butt panels of the stock carry a small pixel camouflage in pale tan, olive green and brown.

Paint chips show at the muzzle, around the front sight and along the handguard ribs, and the grip texture starts to lose colour. Light scratches appear on the forward part of the barrel and the magazine tube. In game the gun looks used but tidy, with the copper colour dominant. The receiver sides and the stock panels are still mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Copperflage is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir XM1014 | Copperflage belongs to The Boreal Collection, which holds 29 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the XM1014 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in copper, gold, brown, olive and cream tones blend with the finish, while matte or paper stickers suit the field-issue look. Placements on the receiver side stand out best against the plain copper.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies close to the cleaner border show noticeably less chipping on the barrel.
  • Look at the muzzle, the handguard ribs and the grip texture in the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the copper colour scheme.
  • Pattern placement has little effect on this small camouflage, so focus on wear and stickers.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like a used, field-issue look on a shotgun.
  • Buyers looking for a balanced copy for everyday matches.
  • Conclusion: the most practical grade for regular play.
