XM1014 | Irezumi is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish that puts a hand-painted snake over a gold-coloured base, in a style drawn from Japanese Irezumi tattoo art. In Factory New the fine linework on the receiver and stock is fully intact, and the gold reads warm and even against the dark barrel. This is the grade for buyers who want the engraving-like detail exactly as designed.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver carries the main artwork: a gold-coloured base covered with dense, engraving-like swirls and a snake drawn in the Irezumi tattoo manner. The barrel and magazine tube are dark, close to black, with ribbed sections, while the tube cap and the area near the front sling mount are a pale cream tone.
The gold base is uniform and every line of the snake and swirl ornament is crisp on both the receiver and the stock panel. The cream grip and tube cap are clean, with no visible marks. In game the receiver catches the eye as a warm, detailed block in the first-person view. Nothing on the weapon looks worn.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Irezumi is 0–0.799; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Kilowatt Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Kilowatt Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, black, cream and muted red stickers match the tattoo-style palette best. Placing them on the dark barrel or tube keeps the receiver ornament visible, while a single gold or holo sticker can complement the engraved look.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the gold base changes noticeably between low and high values of the same grade.
- Inspect the receiver edges and the stock panel corners, as these lose the gold and linework first.
- Look at the pale cream grip and tube cap for scuffs, which stand out against the light colour.
- Note any stickers or name tag, since bright stickers can cover or clash with the receiver ornament.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the snake and swirl artwork fully intact.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean gold base under their placements.
- The pick for anyone who values the finest detail of the design.
