Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Oxide Blaze is the roughest version, where the rust-coloured base is patchy and the white blotches survive only in fragments. Because the float range of this skin stops short of the deepest possible wear, the gun keeps its basic colour scheme instead of turning bare. It is the cheapest entry into the skin and fits its decayed-metal idea.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The long barrel and the magazine tube beneath it are painted in rust-brown with darker and lighter streaks that imitate oxidised steel. The receiver carries the main motif: pale white and cream blotches spread over the rusty base, with a darker band along the top rail.

The barrel, magazine tube and receiver show heavy patchy wear, and the white blotches remain only as fragments. The dark furniture is rubbed along all its edges and raised parts. Since the range ends before the deepest wear, the colour scheme does not disappear entirely. In game the shotgun looks rough and corroded, which still matches the idea of the skin.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7

The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Oxide Blaze is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Clutch Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Clutch Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in rust, brown, cream or off-white tones blend with the oxidised look of the receiver. Dark or matte designs placed near the pump keep the contrast between the brown metal and the black furniture. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the weathered theme.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low value in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
  • Look at the receiver, because the white blotches there are the main detail and the first to show broken edges.
  • Inspect the muzzle and top of the barrel on worn copies, where paint loss starts.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the receiver area reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry for anyone who wants this skin on their XM1014.
  • Players who think heavy wear suits a corroded-metal design.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way in, and the wear does not betray the theme.
