Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred, Scumbria turns into a heavily rubbed metal shotgun where the blue tint survives mainly in recessed areas. The subtle fish ornament fades further into the receiver, so this grade is chosen for a rough, aged look rather than for clean detail.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The barrel and the magazine tube under it are painted in a deep steel blue with a metallic sheen and a light highlight along the top. The forend is a grey-brown sleeve with a ribbed section, contrasting with the darker blue-grey receiver, where a faint fish ornament is applied in thin metallic strokes.
Heavy rubbing covers the barrel, magazine tube, forend and stock, with the strongest wear on the muzzle, rail and edges. The fish ornament on the receiver is barely readable. In game the shotgun looks dark, worn and matte, keeping only a hint of the blue palette. Some colour remains in recesses and on the less exposed flat areas of the receiver.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Scumbria is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir XM1014 | Scumbria belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.
The source is Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in blue, silver, white or muted grey tones blend with the metallic palette. Placing them on the receiver or forend keeps the barrel line clean, while a single warm accent such as orange can work as deliberate contrast.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more metallic sheen.
- Inspect the muzzle, barrel edges, forend ribs and stock outline, as these lose their finish first.
- Look at the receiver closely to see how readable the fish ornament still is on your copy.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the restrained look of this finish.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the cheapest entry into this finish.
- Those who prefer a dark, heavily rubbed shotgun.
- Conclusion: a rough budget option where the blue palette is only hinted at.
