Show allAllSkin overview
This XM1014 finish is recognisable by its dark steel-blue tubes and the faint metallic fish pattern on the receiver. In Field-Tested the metallic paint starts to dull along edges and raised parts, which gives the shotgun a used, working look without losing its colour scheme.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The barrel and the magazine tube under it are painted in a deep steel blue with a metallic sheen and a light highlight along the top. The forend is a grey-brown sleeve with a ribbed section, contrasting with the darker blue-grey receiver, where a faint fish ornament is applied in thin metallic strokes.
The metallic sheen dulls along the barrel edges, the forend ribs and the top rail, and the stock outline shows scuffing. The fish ornament on the receiver becomes softer but remains visible. In game the shotgun reads as a used blue-grey weapon with a slightly matte surface. The flat areas of the receiver and the middle of the barrel still keep most of their colour.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Scumbria is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir XM1014 | Scumbria belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.
It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in blue, silver, white or muted grey tones blend with the metallic palette. Placing them on the receiver or forend keeps the barrel line clean, while a single warm accent such as orange can work as deliberate contrast.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more metallic sheen.
- Inspect the muzzle, barrel edges, forend ribs and stock outline, as these lose their finish first.
- Look at the receiver closely to see how readable the fish ornament still is on your copy.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the restrained look of this finish.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who use the XM1014 and like a worked-in metal look.
- Buyers looking for an affordable copy that still shows the full colour scheme.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
