Skin overview

This is the most worn grade of the coral-red XM1014 with the hand-painted woman on the receiver. The skin's float range stops early, so Battle-Scarred copies look only somewhat rougher than Well-Worn rather than stripped. The red still dominates in first person, and the portrait remains readable as a warm patch with lost fine detail.

Item type: shotgun. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, forend, pistol grip and stock are covered in coral red with lighter, mottled patches, while the barrel and magazine tube stay a dark reddish-brown. The centre of the receiver side carries a hand-painted panel in yellow and orange showing a woman with long, flowing hair.

Because the float range ends early, the damage is only a step beyond Well-Worn. Scratches cover the forend, grip, stock edges and muzzle, and the portrait is more faded with softened lines. The red still dominates the receiver sides, so the skin keeps its colour identity in game.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir XM1014 | Tranquility ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir XM1014 | Tranquility belongs to The Vanguard Collection, which holds 14 skins.

The source is Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, yellow and warm orange stickers pick up the colours of the portrait, while red or black stickers blend into the body. Placements on the stock or forend keep the painted panel on the receiver free.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the portrait panel noticeably cleaner.
  • Check the inspect view of the receiver side to see how much detail the portrait has kept.
  • Look at the forend ribs, muzzle and stock edges, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match your plans for the gun.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry players, since the shortened range keeps damage moderate.
  • Buyers who care about the red colour more than the fine details of the portrait.
  • The cheapest entry point that still keeps the skin's character.
