Skin overview

This SSG 08 finish is built around an aged, archaeological theme of glyphs on blue water and wood, so visible wear does not clash with the idea. In Well-Worn the paint is chipped along the chassis edges and the glyph panels look faded and patchy. It suits a buyer who prefers a used, weathered look at a lower cost.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The barrel, muzzle brake, scope and bipod stay dark gunmetal, which frames the painted chassis. The handguard and receiver area are covered in turquoise panels with dark Egyptian hieroglyphs, broken up by light cut-outs on the handguard.

Paint is chipped along all edges of the handguard and receiver, and the glyph panels look faded and uneven. The wood accents show clear scratches, especially on the stock. In game the rifle looks visibly used, though the teal-and-brown scheme is still recognisable. Cleaner spots remain only in the middle of the larger panels.
