Skin overview

Halftone Whorl turns the SSG 08 into a cool-toned rifle with a dotted swirl texture on the body and stock. In Field-Tested the pattern still holds together, while the edges start to show small chips that give the paint a used look.

Item type: sniper rifle. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel, muzzle brake and bipod stay dark gunmetal, giving the rifle a neutral front end. The receiver and slotted handguard carry dark grey and steel-blue tones with the halftone texture running across them.

Small chips show along the handguard slots, the stock outline and the grip. The halftone dots on flat areas start to look slightly softer. At normal distance the rifle still reads as teal and blue with a clear pattern. The scope body and central stock surfaces stay mostly intact.

The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
