In Field-Tested, SSG 08 | Spring Twilly keeps its bright green-yellow character, but the print starts to break up along the edges of the handguard and stock. The mixed motifs make light scuffs blend into the pattern rather than stand out. It reads as a used but still colourful rifle.
Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The hydrographic print covers the receiver, the handguard with its vented sides, the pistol grip, the stock and the cheek rest, as well as the body of the scope. The pattern mixes assorted scarf-like designs in lime and yellow-green with dark green and black outlines and occasional pale accents.
Scuffs become visible along the handguard edges, the top of the stock and the sides of the grip. The raised parts of the scope may show light rubbing. In game the wear blends into the pattern and the rifle still looks bright. The flat centre areas of the receiver and stock stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of SSG 08 | Spring Twilly is 0–0.55; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (42% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin

Souvenir version

Which stickers suit it
Black, gold or holographic green stickers sit well against the lime print without fighting it. Placements on the darker handguard area near the receiver keep the stickers readable, while very colourful stickers tend to get lost in the busy pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, as lower values keep the handguard edges and grip cleaner.
- Look at the edges of the handguard and the top of the stock, which lose the print first.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so make sure their look suits you.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag in the inspect view before buying.
