Skin overview

This AUG finish combines a muted grey and teal camouflage with bright orange accents and a translucent orange magazine. In Well-Worn the orange areas lose part of their saturation and the raised edges show clear patches of bare metal, giving the rifle a used, weathered look. The darker base keeps it from looking messy, so the skin still reads as orange on grey.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver and stock are covered in a dark grey and muted teal camouflage hydrographic, broken by orange and rust-red streaks around the trigger guard and the rear of the stock. The rear stock carries orange panels with a fine grid texture that stand out as the brightest painted areas.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the flat surfaces of the stock, and patches of bare metal appear on the grip and trigger guard. The orange panels look faded and patchy, and the streaks near the trigger lose definition. In game the rifle reads as clearly used, though the orange-on-grey scheme is still recognisable.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of StatTrakā„¢ AUG | Amber Slipstream is 0–0.55; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (13% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What it costs in each quality

Among 7 skins of the AUG in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrakā„¢ version

This is the StatTrakā„¢ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrakā„¢ version is 26% cheaper than the regular one.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, amber, black or dark grey tie in with the finish, and holo or gold accents echo the bright magazine. Placing them on the dark grey side of the receiver keeps them readable without clashing with the orange panels on the stock.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the orange panels on the rear stock and the edges of the trigger guard, as these show wear first.
  • Make sure the stickers and name tag on the offer fit the orange and grey colour scheme.
  • Decide whether you want the StatTrakā„¢ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who still want orange accents on their AUG.
  • Fans of a weathered look who like visible wear on the edges.
  • An affordable way to get the skin's character.
