Skin overview

This Dual Berettas skin keeps its identity through the shape of the steel slides and the brown wooden grips, even when the shine starts to fade. In Field-Tested the polish turns patchy and scratches appear on the slides, which gives the pistols a used, service-weapon feel. Buyers who like a lived-in look often prefer it to a spotless copy.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

Both pistols have slides and frames in bright polished silver steel, with visible serrations at the rear of the slides and a reflective finish along the barrels. The trigger guards and triggers stay in the same steel tone, while small dark pins and screws break up the metal surfaces.

The slide edges, muzzles and front of the frames show clear scratches and duller areas of steel. Lighter scratches spread onto the flat sides of the slides. The wood grips begin to fade slightly at their edges, while the centre of the panels keeps its grain. In game the pistols read as used but still bright steel with wooden grips.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of StatTrak™ Dual Berettas | Retribution ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 51% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.

Price by quality

Among 11 skins of the Dual Berettas in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 27% dearer than the regular one.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, gold and holo stickers work well with the polished steel, while brown, black or muted stickers echo the wood grips. Placements on the flat sides of the slides keep the grips and their grain visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
  • Look at the slide edges and muzzles on the inspect screen, as they lose their shine first.
  • Check the wood grips for faded edges on more worn copies.
  • Look at applied stickers and name tags, since they change the clean steel look.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like a used, service-weapon look on their pistols.
  • Buyers who check float and pick a low copy that still looks bright.
  • A good everyday option for regular play.
