Show allAllSkin overview
This FAMAS finish combines a hexagon grid, a dark slate base and red speckles into a low-contrast, almost camouflage-like look. Because the float range of Hexane stops early, Well-Worn copies sit only at the very beginning of this grade and look close to a heavily used Field-Tested. The pattern still covers most of the rifle, with the metal showing mainly on edges.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver, carry handle, handguard and magazine are covered in a dark slate-navy base with a continuous grid of thin steel-blue hexagon outlines, and many cells are filled with irregular dull red flecks. The pistol grip and trigger guard are left in a plain matte blue-grey, which separates the lower part of the rifle from the patterned body.
The same areas as in Field-Tested show broader worn patches, especially on the carry handle and magazine, where the grid breaks up in places. The red flecks look duller overall and the dark base lightens slightly on raised parts. Since only the start of this grade exists for Hexane, the damage stays moderate and the pattern still reads on the receiver sides in game. The grip remains mostly intact apart from worn edges.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.4
The whole float range of StatTrak™ FAMAS | Hexane is 0–0.4; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.4 segment (5% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 2 Collection with 12 skins in total.
The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 2 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the FAMAS in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 1.6× dearer than the regular one.
Stickers and crafts
Red, crimson and dark blue stickers repeat the colours of the flecks and the base, while steel or holo silver accents match the hexagon lines. Placements on the flat side of the receiver keep the grid visible around them.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of Field-Tested look close to Well-Worn.
- Look at the carry handle and magazine edges in the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
- Pattern placement shifts the red flecks only slightly, so it rarely needs special attention on this skin.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, which change the look and are not removed with the item.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget buyers who want the lowest entry into this skin.
- Players who do not mind scuffed edges on a dark finish.
- The cheapest way to get the Hexane look with moderate wear.
