Show allAllSkin overview
P250 | Contaminant is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin finished in deep maroon, covered with a network of dark cell-like blotches outlined by brighter red veins. The finish is meant to look decayed, yet in Factory New the veins stay sharp and the maroon base keeps an even tone across the slide and grip. The look is deliberately rotten, and only the artwork is.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The whole P250 is coated in maroon paint covered with an irregular network of dark, almost black cells, each outlined by thin brighter red veins. The pattern runs continuously over the slide, including the rear serrations, and continues down the frame, trigger guard and grip, where the cells become larger and rounder.
The maroon coating is complete on every part of the pistol, with no chipped edges. The red veins between the dark cells are crisp and evenly coloured. In game the skin reads as a solid dark red pistol with a visible organic texture. Slide, frame and grip all look equally clean.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of StatTrak™ P250 | Contaminant ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Operation Broken Fang Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Broken Fang Case.
Price by quality
By price this skin is 5th of 10 skins Mil-Spec Grade P250 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 3.5× cheaper than the regular one.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in dark red, black or muted metallic tones match the maroon base and dark cells without breaking the decayed look. A single sticker on the flat side of the slide keeps the pattern readable. Bright green or toxic-themed stickers can underline the contamination idea as a deliberate contrast.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep visibly more paint on the slide edges.
- Inspect the front of the slide and the muzzle, as these areas lose paint first.
- Look at the lower edges of the grip and the trigger guard on worn copies to see how much of the pattern remains.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change the look of the slide.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the coating and red veins in their sharpest form.
- Sticker crafters who need an even dark red base.
- Conclusion: the cleanest version for those who care about detail.
