Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred, Halftone Shift turns into a weathered shotgun where the green-to-olive halftone shows through patches of exposed metal. The skin's range does not reach the most extreme wear values, so the gradient and the dot clusters remain readable even here. This is the cheapest way to get the pattern on the XM1014.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The barrels and muzzle carry the brightest part of the gradient, a light green halftone with rounded dot clusters, and the magazine tube under the barrel repeats it. Moving back, the colour shifts to olive and khaki across the ribbed forend and the receiver, where the dot patches grow larger and blend into the base tone.
Large patches of paint are gone from the muzzle, the forend ribs, the top of the receiver and the front of the stock. Even so, the skin's range keeps it short of the heaviest wear, so the gradient and dot clusters remain visible on the flat surfaces. In game the gun looks rough and weathered but still recognisably green and olive. The sides of the receiver and the magazine tube hold the cleanest remaining areas.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The float of XM1014 | Halftone Shift ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 16 skins of the XM1014 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in green, olive, khaki or beige tones sit naturally on the receiver and blend with the gradient. Holo or gold stickers with a dotted or print-like look echo the halftone theme, and dark designs contrast well against the lighter khaki body.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, because a low float keeps the muzzle and forend ribs noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the muzzle ends and the top edges of the receiver, where chips appear first.
- Inspect the forend ribs, since wear there breaks up the dot pattern most visibly.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the gun.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- For entry-level buyers who want the pattern at the lowest cost.
- For players who like a heavily weathered look that still shows the gradient.
- Conclusion: the most affordable way to use Halftone Shift in game.
