Skin overview

Tranquility is recognisable by its red body and the golden portrait panel on the receiver, and at Well-Worn that combination still carries the look. Scratches open up dark metal across the forend, grip and stock edges, and the portrait starts to lose detail around its borders. It suits buyers who like the colour scheme and accept a rougher surface.

Item type: shotgun. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, forend, pistol grip and stock are covered in coral red with lighter, mottled patches, while the barrel and magazine tube stay a dark reddish-brown. The centre of the receiver side carries a hand-painted panel in yellow and orange showing a woman with long, flowing hair.

Wear spreads from the edges onto larger areas of the forend, grip and stock, and the muzzle end is heavily scratched. The portrait loses fine detail around its borders, though the figure remains recognisable. The flat central parts of the receiver and stock still hold most of the red.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of XM1014 | Tranquility ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 14% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Vanguard Collection with 14 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).

Price by quality

Among 4 skins of the XM1014 in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 3.8× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, yellow and warm orange stickers pick up the colours of the portrait, while red or black stickers blend into the body. Placements on the stock or forend keep the painted panel on the receiver free.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the portrait panel noticeably cleaner.
  • Check the inspect view of the receiver side to see how much detail the portrait has kept.
  • Look at the forend ribs, muzzle and stock edges, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match your plans for the gun.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want this artwork in the inventory.
  • Players who like a used, weathered look on a shotgun.
  • An affordable way to own the skin.
