Skin overview

XM1014 | XoooM in Battle-Scarred keeps its yellow theme, but large areas of paint are gone and the metal underneath is exposed. The dark streaks blend into the scuffed surface, and the grey parts dominate more than in cleaner grades. It suits players who like a heavily used, beaten look.

Item type: shotgun. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel, the magazine tube under it, the top of the receiver and the stock are coated in bright yellow with a mottled texture and darker olive diagonal streaks. The forend, the lower receiver, the pistol grip and parts of the stock are left in grey with a silver tint, which frames the yellow sections.

Large areas of yellow are stripped from the receiver, the muzzle and the stock. The streaks lose their definition among scratches. In game the weapon reads as mostly worn metal with patches of yellow. Only sheltered spots on the tube and stock keep a solid coat.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a lower value keeps the receiver edge and muzzle cleaner.
  • Inspect the top of the receiver and the stock edges, as these lose yellow first.
  • Look at any applied stickers and how their colours sit against the yellow and grey.
  • Check for a name tag if you want the item clean or with a specific name.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Fans of heavily worn, beaten-up finishes.
  • Buyers looking for the cheapest grade of this skin.
  • Conclusion: for those who value the rough look over clean paint.
