Skin overview

The blue water camo on this Bayonet stays readable even when bare steel starts to show through. Field-Tested copies keep the overall blue identity, while silver scuffs appear along the edge, tip and grip ridges. The mix of paint and exposed metal gives it a used, practical character that fits the military knife shape.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The blade is covered in a hydrographic camo of irregular blotches in pale blue, sky blue, mid blue and dark navy, with a few grey-white patches that brighten the pattern. The camo runs across the whole flat of the blade up to the tip and around the hole near the spine.

Wear spreads along the edge, the tip and the spine, and the first scuffs show on the raised grip ribs. The central part of the blade still holds most of the camo. In game the knife remains clearly blue, with silver flecks catching the light when inspected. The pommel may start to lose paint on its rim.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the cleanest copies keep the edge and tip free of silver marks.
  • Inspect the visible side of the blade, because the camo placement differs and some copies show more light or more dark patches.
  • Look at the cutting edge, tip and grip ribs first, as these are where steel shows through earliest.
  • Note whether a name tag is applied and whether it suits you, since it stays with the knife.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a clearly blue Bayonet at a moderate grade.
  • Those who like a slightly used look on a military knife.
  • A practical everyday choice.
