Skin overview

This Bayonet carries a cool blue camo of rounded, overlapping patches from tip to pommel. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact: any marks are small and sit on the very edge of the blade. For most buyers it reads the same as a pristine copy in hand while costing less than the cleanest grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is covered in a hydrographic camo of irregular blotches in pale blue, sky blue, mid blue and dark navy, with a few grey-white patches that brighten the pattern. The camo runs across the whole flat of the blade up to the tip and around the hole near the spine.

Small silver nicks can appear along the cutting edge and near the tip. The flat of the blade, the handle and the pommel keep their full camo. In game these marks are hard to spot without inspecting closely. Overall the knife looks practically clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ Bayonet | Bright Water ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the cleanest copies keep the edge and tip free of silver marks.
  • Inspect the visible side of the blade, because the camo placement differs and some copies show more light or more dark patches.
  • Look at the cutting edge, tip and grip ribs first, as these are where steel shows through earliest.
  • Note whether a name tag is applied and whether it suits you, since it stays with the knife.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Buyers who accept tiny marks on the edge that are hard to see in game.
  • A sensible balance of appearance and cost.
