Skin overview

This copy carries the same emerald marbling across the long Bowie blade, set against a black grip and pale blue metal fittings. The green is dense enough that small marks are hard to find in normal play. Minimal Wear lets a buyer get the full Emerald colour with only faint traces of use near the tip and edge.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is coated in bright emerald green with darker green smoke-like swirls running through it, and lighter cyan patches appear along the cutting edge and toward the clip point. The sawback teeth on the spine carry the same green coat.

Faint scuffs may appear at the very tip and in spots along the cutting edge, where the coat begins to thin. The sawback teeth can show slight lightening on their points. The main body of the blade, the guard and the pommel still look clean. In normal play the knife reads the same as a Factory New copy.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since copies near the cleaner end show no marks at all.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge closely, as these are the first places the coat thins.
  • Compare the amount of cyan on the blade between copies if you want the greenest possible look.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag you are happy with.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Emerald look in game and accept faint marks on the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a lower entry into this phase than the Factory New grade.
  • A sensible option when the colour matters more than a perfect tip.
