The blade has a stonewashed finish: mottled grey steel with darker clouding and a brighter polished edge, topped by a black spine and black serrations near the pivot. Both handles are black with round cutouts along their length, and the open slots show inlays of layered laminate in grey, white and near-black stripes. The pivot pins, latch and handle screws are dark metal and blend into the frame. On worn copies the black coating goes first on the handle edges, the rims of the cutouts and the top of the spine, followed by scuffing on the laminate inlays.

The black coating on the handles and spine is fully intact, with no marks around the cutouts. The laminate inlays show crisp, clean stripes. The blade carries only its designed stonewash texture. In hand and during inspect the knife looks exactly as on the preview.
