Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred turns the Boreal Forest camouflage into scattered green and beige fragments over worn metal. The front of the blade and the edge are largely bare, while the guard and handle keep their colours. It is the most accessible way to own the knife's shape and the forest theme.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The blade carries a forest camouflage hydrographic of olive, lime yellow-green, jade green and pale beige blotches, with soft-edged patches running from the guard to the tip. A thin light band follows the cutting edge, and the serrations near the base sit inside the pattern.
The front half of the blade is mostly bare, with the edge and spine worn through. The camouflage survives as broken fragments, mainly towards the guard. In game the knife reads as worn steel with traces of green. The jade guard and sand handle are still the cleanest parts.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of ★ Classic Knife | Boreal Forest is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It is the rare special item of CS20 Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the Classic Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 48% dearer than the regular one.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since a low-float copy shows noticeably less wear on the tip and edge.
- Look at the tip, cutting edge and spine on the inspect screenshot, as these lose paint first.
- Compare pattern placement, because the camouflage patches fall differently on each copy and some show more of the bright lime and jade areas.
- Note whether the knife has a name tag or StatTrak™ and whether that matters to you.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for players who want this knife shape above all.
- Fans of heavily worn steel with traces of camouflage.
- In short: the most accessible way into the model and its forest theme.
