Show allAllSkin overview
Crimson Web on the Classic Knife is a red blade crossed by a black web, framed by a dark guard and knurled handle. In Field-Tested the red is still dominant, but the edge and tip begin to show bare metal and the web loses some sharpness in places. From normal viewing distance it keeps the recognisable red-and-black look.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The blade is covered in a deep red base coat with a thin black spider web hydrographic running across both faces. Along the cutting edge and near the tip the finish breaks into lighter steel-coloured areas with a wavy outline, which frame the red field.
Bare metal starts to show along the cutting edge, at the tip and in spots on the spine. The red on the flat of the blade is still mostly intact, though the web may look softer near worn areas. In game the knife still reads clearly red with a visible web. The handle shows little change.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of ★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It is the rare special item of CS20 Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.
What it costs in each quality
Among 11 skins of the Classic Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 32% dearer than the regular one.
What to check before buying
- Check the float within the wear range, since lower values keep more red at the edge and tip.
- Look at the web placement on the blade, because the pattern position changes how clean and centred the web looks.
- Inspect the cutting edge, tip and spine, as these are the first places where the red coat wears off.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both affect what you are buying.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the red web look in game at a moderate grade.
- Buyers who do not mind visible metal at the edge and tip.
- A practical everyday version of this knife.
