Show allAllSkin overview
This is the Classic Knife with the red Crimson Web finish, now in Well-Worn condition. The red coat is visibly thinned, with steel showing along the edge, at the tip and on the spine, and the web pattern is broken in several areas. It still reads as a red web knife, but with a clearly used, weathered character.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The blade is covered in a deep red base coat with a thin black spider web hydrographic running across both faces. Along the cutting edge and near the tip the finish breaks into lighter steel-coloured areas with a wavy outline, which frame the red field.
Wear spreads from the edge, tip and spine onto the flat of the blade, leaving the red visibly thinned and patchy. The web is interrupted in several places and fades where the base coat is gone. In game the blade looks red with a lighter, scratched texture. The central part of the blade holds the most colour.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of ★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
It is the rare special item of CS20 Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the Classic Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 2.2× dearer than the regular one.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float within the wear range, since lower values keep more red at the edge and tip.
- Look at the web placement on the blade, because the pattern position changes how clean and centred the web looks.
- Inspect the cutting edge, tip and spine, as these are the first places where the red coat wears off.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both affect what you are buying.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players on a tighter budget who still want a recognisably red blade.
- Those who like a weathered, used look on a knife.
- A budget pick that keeps the character of the finish.
