★ Driver Gloves | Plum Quill (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

This is the most weathered version of the purple driving gloves with a dotted back and perforated fingers. Battle-Scarred leather looks heavily rubbed and uneven, with grime in the creases and faded patches across the back and fingers. It suits buyers who want the plum colour on their hands and accept a rough, aged finish.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The back of each glove is covered in plum leather with a grid of raised dots, a texture that resembles quill-marked hide. The fingers are smoother and perforated with small holes, and darker purple seams outline the panels.

The leather is heavily worn on every exposed part: knuckles, fingertips, cuff and the dotted back. Dirt settles in the creases and around the perforations, and the plum colour becomes patchy and muted. The mesh insert looks dull and the dots barely stand out. In game the gloves read as dark, aged purple leather.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since knuckles and fingertips show wear first and the difference is visible in close inspection.
• Look at the back of the hand on the inspect view to see whether the raised dots are still crisp or already darkened.
• Compare the cuff edge and the palm mesh, as these show whether a copy looks evenly coloured or patchy.
• Inspect the gloves in game on a few different weapons, because the purple tone reads differently next to bright and dark weapon skins.
