Skin overview

Well-Worn copies show a noticeably duller blade: the Damascus waves are softer and scuffing spreads across the steel. Because the finish is grey metal by nature, the wear looks like an aged tool rather than damaged paint. It suits players who like a used, working look on a classic knife shape.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The blade carries a grey Damascus pattern of flowing, layered lines that follow the curve from the base to the acute point. The spine near the base has a row of serrations, and the steel there shows the same wavy layers.

Scuffs spread from the edge onto the flat of the blade and the serrations are clearly worn. The pattern looks softer and less contrasted overall. At normal distance the blade reads as dull grey steel with faint waves. The handle shows little change.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the Damascus layers noticeably sharper.
  • Look closely at the edge, tip and serrations in the inspect view, as they show wear first.
  • Compare the contrast of the pattern on the flat of the blade between offers in the same grade.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag if that matters to you.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like the look of a used, working blade.
  • Budget buyers who want this knife shape with a metallic finish.
  • Conclusion: a characterful option where wear fits the steel theme.
