Skin overview

This is the same marbled three-colour Flip Knife, offered at the more worn end of a very short float range. The blue, gold and red bands and the dark veining stay fully readable, so the knife keeps its character in hand. In Minimal Wear any marks are small and sit mostly near the tip, which makes this grade a practical way to own the finish.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers the whole blade: a black and silver marbled base under a translucent candy coat that shifts from blue at the tip to gold and then red towards the heel. The serrated section on the spine near the base carries the same colours, with the teeth catching light as bright edges.

At Minimal Wear the first light marks may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge, where the coat is thinnest. The serrations can show a few slightly brighter points on the teeth. At normal distance in game these traces are hard to spot, and the colour bands and marbling read the same as on a Factory New copy. The middle of the blade and the handle stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ Flip Knife | Marble Fade ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the colour balance on the blade, since the share of blue, gold and red varies between copies and affects the look most.
  • Check the side of the blade shown in first-person view, because that is the side you will see in play.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely on Minimal Wear copies, as that is where marks appear first.
  • See where the float sits within the range if you want the cleanest possible coat.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the marbled three-colour look in game without paying for a flawless coat.
  • Buyers for whom colour balance matters more than tiny marks at the tip.
  • A sensible entry into this finish on the Flip Knife.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in play, with the savings going to the pattern you prefer.
