Dark brown tiger stripes run across the blade at an angle, wider near the spine and tapering toward the cutting edge. The handle keeps a grey-green textured grip with grooved inserts, while the pivot screw, thumb stud area, rear screws and the handle spine pick up the same orange tone. On worn copies the anodizing fades first at the acute point, along the cutting edge and on the serrations, where bare metal can show through.

The orange anodizing is uniform across the blade, with no lighter patches at the tip or along the edge. The stripes keep crisp outlines, and the serrations hold their full colour. In game the knife reads as a solid, bright orange blade with clear dark bands. The handle and its orange hardware look untouched.
