Skin overview

Safari Mesh is a calm, low-contrast finish, and on the Huntsman the large flat blade gives the net pattern plenty of room. In Field-Tested the mesh is still clearly visible, but bare metal begins to show at the tip, along the edge and on the spine teeth. The scuffed look suits the stencilled, hand-sprayed style of the paint.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The blade is sprayed in pale khaki and sage tones with a lighter net pattern stencilled across it from mesh fencing, while brighter silvery patches sit along the edge and the spine. The serrated spine teeth, the swept belly and the angular Tanto point all carry the same camouflage.

Bare metal shows along the cutting edge, at the tip and on the spine teeth, and the khaki starts to thin out near the edge. The middle of the blade and the guard still carry a readable net pattern. In first person the camouflage is clear, with visible silvery wear at the edges. Lower floats in this grade look noticeably cleaner than higher ones.
