Skin overview
Boreal Forest is a plain woodland camo on the M9 Bayonet, built from soft green, olive and khaki shapes rather than a single bold motif. In Well-Worn a good part of the paint along the edge, tip and spine is gone, so the blade shows noticeable bare steel between the camo patches. The knife reads as a long-used field tool, which many find fitting for this finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The blade is covered with a hydrographic forest camouflage of olive, khaki, light green and teal blotches, running from the tip across the fuller hole and up to the serrated spine. A darker grey band follows the cutting edge, framing the camo along the lower line of the blade.
The tip, edge and spine show wide areas of bare steel, and the scratches spread into the camo on the blade flat. The ring, the raised grip ridges and the pommel lose paint noticeably. In game the knife looks clearly used, with metal showing through the pattern. The middle of the blade and the recessed parts of the grip still hold most of the camouflage.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show visibly less steel on the tip and edge.
- Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the spine teeth first, because that is where this hydrographic finish loses paint before anything else.
- Check the muzzle ring and the grip ridges on worn copies, as chips there are visible in the inspect animation.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag, as both change the item you are buying.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players who enjoy a knife that looks genuinely used in the field.
- Budget buyers who still want a fair amount of camo on the blade.
- A fit for those who value character over cleanliness.
