Show allAllSkin overview
The look of this Skeleton Knife rests on the contrast between the light layered steel and the dark taped handle. In Field-Tested the pattern loses some of its shine and picks up scuffs near the tip and edges, but the damascus character stays readable.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The narrow double-edged blade is covered in a flowing damascus pattern of light and dark grey wave lines, with a brighter polished bevel running along its length beside a row of small holes. The pattern continues onto the guard and the large finger ring, which keeps the same silver tone.
Scuffs become noticeable at the tip, along the edges and on the rim of the finger ring. The steel looks a little greyer and the bevel less reflective. In game the damascus waves are still clear, with wear showing mostly up close in inspect. The centre of the blade and the taped grip stay largely intact.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end keep more shine on the bevel.
- Look at the layout of the damascus swirls in inspect, as some blades show a calmer or busier pattern.
- Inspect the tip, cutting edges and finger ring, which lose shine first.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag if that matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want a Skeleton Knife with readable damascus at a more accessible grade.
- Buyers who do not mind light scuffs on the tip and edges.
- Conclusion: a balanced middle option for everyday play.
