Skin overview

Cloud Chaser in Battle-Scarred trades the clean drawing for a heavily used look, while the cobalt and violet colour blocking still stands out. The cloud and dragon details are faded in many places and the grey palms look stained and darkened. It is the most affordable way to own this blue design.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The back of the hand is covered in cobalt blue fabric with white and pale gold cloud swirls and a coiled dragon outline running toward the wrist. The cuff and knuckle area carry violet and purple padded panels with dark trim, and a strap across the knuckles bears the word TORTUE.

The grey palms and fingertips are heavily darkened, and the padding edges on fingers and knuckles look worn through. Large sections of the cloud swirls and dragon outline are faded, leaving mostly the blue base visible on the back. The violet panels and the TORTUE strap carry visible scuffs. In game the gloves read as blue and violet with little pattern detail.

Battle-Scarred quality β€” float range 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of β˜… Specialist Gloves | Cloud Chaser is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of Sealed Dead Hand Terminal β€” knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What it costs in each quality

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since low-float copies in the middle grades look noticeably cleaner on the palms.
  • Inspect the grey fingertips and palms first, as they show dirt and wear before any other part.
  • Look at the white cloud linework on the back of the hand to see how much of the pattern remains intact.
  • Check the edges of the violet knuckle panels and finger padding for scuffing on worn copies.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the cheapest way to wear these blue gloves.
  • Those who accept a faded pattern in exchange for the overall colour look.
  • The budget entry point for Cloud Chaser.
