Skin overview

The Cloud Chaser gloves are recognised by their bright blue body, violet padded panels and pale cloud pattern framed by grey leather palms. At Minimal Wear the look stays nearly identical to a fresh pair, with only faint traces on the grey fingertips under close inspection. It gives almost the full clean appearance at a lower grade.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The back of the hand is covered in cobalt blue fabric with white and pale gold cloud swirls and a coiled dragon outline running toward the wrist. The cuff and knuckle area carry violet and purple padded panels with dark trim, and a strap across the knuckles bears the word TORTUE.

Light marks may appear on the grey fingertips and the tip of the thumb, usually visible only when inspecting closely. The blue back, the dragon outline and the cloud swirls remain practically untouched. The padded strips on the fingers keep clean edges. At normal distance in game this grade is hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of β˜… Specialist Gloves | Cloud Chaser ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 β€” 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Sealed Dead Hand Terminal β€” knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since low-float copies in the middle grades look noticeably cleaner on the palms.
  • Inspect the grey fingertips and palms first, as they show dirt and wear before any other part.
  • Look at the white cloud linework on the back of the hand to see how much of the pattern remains intact.
  • Check the edges of the violet knuckle panels and finger padding for scuffing on worn copies.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Collectors satisfied with marks visible only on close inspection.
  • A sensible balance of appearance and cost.
