★ Specialist Gloves | Cloud Chaser (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Specialist Gloves | Cloud Chaser pair a deep cobalt base with fine white cloud swirls and a dragon outline across the back of the hand. In Factory New the thin white linework stays crisp and the blue keeps its saturated, even tone from cuff to fingers. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the drawing exactly as designed.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

Appearance in Factory New

The back of the hand is covered in cobalt blue fabric with white and pale gold cloud swirls and a coiled dragon outline running toward the wrist. The cuff and knuckle area carry violet and purple padded panels with dark trim, and a strap across the knuckles bears the word TORTUE. The fingers continue the blue base with ribbed padded strips, while the palms, thumbs and fingertips are made of plain grey leather with a small light blue triangle accent near the thumb. On worn copies the grey fingertips and palms lose their clean tone first, followed by the raised edges of the padding and the thin white linework on the back.

The grey leather is even and clean, and the white cloud lines on the blue back are sharp down to the thinnest strokes. The violet panels keep a uniform colour with no scuffing on their edges. Because the float range of these gloves does not start at zero, Factory New copies sit in a narrow band and are relatively uncommon. In game the pair looks bright and fully intact.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The whole float range of ★ Specialist Gloves | Cloud Chaser is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of Sealed Dead Hand Terminal — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since low-float copies in the middle grades look noticeably cleaner on the palms.
• Inspect the grey fingertips and palms first, as they show dirt and wear before any other part.
• Look at the white cloud linework on the back of the hand to see how much of the pattern remains intact.
• Check the edges of the violet knuckle panels and finger padding for scuffing on worn copies.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the cloud and dragon drawing in its full detail.
• Players building a blue-themed inventory around a clean centrepiece.
• The pick for those who value an untouched look above all.
