★ StatTrak™ Butterfly Knife | Forest DDPAT (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Forest DDPAT gives the ★ Butterfly Knife a practical, military look built from small green and tan squares. On Field-Tested copies the cutting edge and tip start to show grey steel through the hydrographic. The camo still reads clearly across the flat of the blade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The blade is covered in a digital disruptive pattern of tan, khaki, olive and dark green pixels applied as a hydrographic. The pattern runs over the whole blade, including the swept tip and the area near the pivot.

The cutting edge and tip show visible grey steel, and light scuffs reach onto the flat of the blade. The pattern on the centre of the blade remains mostly intact. In game the knife still reads as camouflaged, with a lighter outline along the edge.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Butterfly Knife | Forest DDPAT ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Operation Breakout Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 23, 2014) — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

• Look at the cutting edge and tip in the inspect screenshot, since they lose paint first.
• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, as low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• The Factory New range is narrow for this skin, so compare it with low Minimal Wear before paying more.
• Check for a name tag and StatTrak™ if they matter to you.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want a Butterfly Knife with a camo look and accept edge wear.
• Buyers who prefer low-float Field-Tested copies that look close to cleaner grades.
• A reasonable entry into the Butterfly Knife.
