★ StatTrak™ Flip Knife | Scorched (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is a restrained Flip Knife finish: charcoal and grey spray-paint blotches run over the curved blade and continue onto the grip. In Minimal Wear the scheme reads almost the same as a factory-new copy, with only small marks that show up on close inspection. It keeps the clean, smoky look while usually costing less than the top grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade is painted in a mottled scheme of black, charcoal and lighter grey, with soft-edged blotches that look like soot over steel; the darker patches gather towards the spine and the tip. The serrated section near the base of the blade carries the same smoky paint, and the pivot area stays in a darker tone.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the very tip and along the cutting edge, usually visible only when inspecting the knife. The blotches on the flat of the blade and the handle pattern remain complete. In game this grade is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The serrations and grip ribs still look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Flip Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, since the worn grades on this skin are wide and copies with the same wear name can look quite different.
• Look at the cutting edge, the tip and the serrations first, as they lose paint before the rest of the knife.
• Compare the placement of the dark blotches on the blade, because the spray pattern sits differently from copy to copy.
• Note whether the knife has a StatTrak™ counter or a name tag, as both change the item you are buying.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

• Players who want an almost factory-new look without paying for the top grade.
• Buyers who rarely inspect the knife closely and care about how it reads in game.
• A sensible choice for a clean Scorched at a lower entry point.
