★ StatTrak™ Flip Knife | Stained (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Stained is a dark, mottled blade finish with no bright colours, and that low-key look forgives use well. In Field-Tested the stains stay readable while the edge and tip start to show light scratches. In game the knife still reads as an aged steel blade rather than a damaged one.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The whole blade is covered in a forced patina: grey and blue-grey steel with darker cloudy blotches and streaks spread unevenly from the base to the acute point. The serrated section near the pivot carries the same mottled finish, which makes the teeth look darker and more textured.

Light scratches show along the cutting edge, on the tip and on the raised teeth of the serrations. The patina pattern is still clear across most of the blade. At normal distance the knife reads as aged steel, and the wear blends into the stained look. The middle of the blade flat stays mostly intact.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since copies near the top of a range look cleaner.
• Look at the placement of the dark blotches, as the pattern differs from copy to copy and some layouts look darker or more balanced.
• Inspect the tip, cutting edge and serrations, where wear appears first.
• Make sure a name tag, if present, suits your taste.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want a knife for everyday use where light scratches fit the aged style.
• Buyers looking for a middle option without visible damage in game.
• Conclusion: a practical choice for play.
