Skin overview

The claw shape, black grip and purple doodle pattern are still the core of this skin in its most worn grade. Because the float range ends early, Battle-Scarred copies are not fully stripped: purple and drawings remain near the base of the blade. It is the most accessible way to own the knife with the pattern still recognisable.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The blade is painted in deep purple and covered edge to edge with white and silver marker drawings: glyphs, hand prints, faces and small symbols. A narrow polished steel strip runs along the cutting edge and catches the light against the dark paint.

The outer curve of the blade and the tip are largely silver, with the drawings broken into fragments. The ring is visibly scuffed along its edge. Since the range stops early, purple and doodles remain near the grip, which keeps the skin readable at normal distance.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.48

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Karambit | Freehand is 0–0.48; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.48 segment (6% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edge and tip change most between low and high values.
• Look at which drawings fall on the visible side of the blade, as placement differs between copies.
• Inspect the tip, spine and the rim of the finger ring for exposed steel.
