Skin overview

This Karambit is recognised by its purple blade and dense metallic doodles that also wrap around the finger ring. In Field-Tested the edge and tip start to show bare steel, while the centre of the blade keeps most of the drawing. The contrast between purple paint and exposed metal becomes part of the look.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The blade is painted in deep purple and covered edge to edge with white and silver marker drawings: glyphs, hand prints, faces and small symbols. A narrow polished steel strip runs along the cutting edge and catches the light against the dark paint.

Steel shows through along the cutting edge and the tip, with light scuffs starting on the spine. The middle of the blade and the area near the grip keep the purple and most drawings. In game the blade still reads as purple with a silver outline, and the grip stays unchanged.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Karambit | Freehand ranges from 0 to 0.48; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 48% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edge and tip change most between low and high values.
  • Look at which drawings fall on the visible side of the blade, as placement differs between copies.
  • Inspect the tip, spine and the rim of the finger ring for exposed steel.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the purple and drawings to read clearly in game.
  • Buyers who like the contrast of paint and bare steel on the edge.
  • A practical everyday version of the knife.
